Layla McRae is a dancer, choreographer, and educator. She completed her BFA in dance at Colorado State University and she continues to dive into new ways to move and create in different spaces. She is now a MFA candidate at Sam Houston State University for Performance & Choreography. Gaining experience in all areas including performing, teaching and choreography is an ongoing goal and process to better spread the passion of dance, not just to new dancers but seasoned dancers alike. Sharing the way dance is not only a profession or hobby for some but a passion that feeds everyone's body & mind. Layla has taught at various schools in Colorado, educating students of all ages teaching Contemporary, Modern, Ballet, Musical Theater, & Improvisation. Additionally, Layla continues to develop a portfolio of different works currently including "Phrenophobia", "Arcturus", "I am Jazz", "5,408", "Raw Existence”, & unreleased “HTP”.
