VITACCA VOCATIONAL SCHOOL FOR DANCE, WOODLANDS

THE ORGANIZATION

Under the Artistic Direction of Kelly Ann Vitacca, the school's training programs are designed to push each dancer beyond their technical and artistic abilities. Created for the focused and driven dancer, Vitacca Woodlands offers the education needed to pursue dance at an advanced level. 

Vitacca Woodlands provides three programs including a Children’s Program, Academy Program and Pre-Professional Program. The Vitacca curriculum combines advanced training in ballet, modern and contemporary movement, which sets a strong foundation for healthy technique. Students age three to nine are placed by age while students ten and up are placed by knowledge, ability and potential.

Among many achievements, Vitacca has received: Outstanding School, Youth America Grand Prix  (YAGP), Outstanding Choreographer YAGP, and both junior and senior Top 20 YAGP NY Finalist in 2015 and 2017. 

Vitacca dancer’s have been accepted into prestigious conservatories and professional companies including: The Juilliard School, Alberta Ballet Company, Sarasota Ballet Company, Ballet West Trainee Company, Boston Ballet Trainee Program, Boston Conservatory Dance Program, Fordham University, English National Ballet Training Program, Central Ballet School, London and many more.

Vitacca Woodlands  is committed to the intellectual vitality of the community by providing a foundation for development of the art of dance. Vitacca fosters emerging dancers through world-class coaching, and professional performances which advance dance as a medium and provokes thought.

OUR GOAL

Vitacca’s individual focus nurtures dancers to grow as unique artists and create significant additions to the art form and the community. Our school promotes artistic growth and superior training, while accelerating dance artists beyond preconceived limitations.
