ABOUT
Ages 10–18
Our award-winning Vitacca Studio Company for ages 10–18 offers Advanced Vocational Training Program students the opportunity to build seasonal repertoire, rehearse with leading industry choreographers, and perform ensemble works throughout the season. The Vitacca Studio Company prepares the dancer for the Vitacca Ballet Apprentice Program and/or offers a focused environment for study and artistic exploration. Vitacca Studio Company dancers must train exclusively with Vitacca Dance, Woodlands with the exception of private/public educational institutions.

COMPANY INCLUDES
Vitacca's Studio Company offers aspiring dancers the opportunity to train in cohesive, dual focus program including:
Choreographic Laboratories with regional and international guest choreographers
Rehearse and perform seasonal classical and contemporary repertoire
Invitations to Master Classes
Career Mentorship & Evaluation
Potential Variation and Contemporary Solo Coaching (by invitation)
Performance within competitive events (by invitation)
Performance within school productions (by invitation)
REQUIREMENTS
Dancers should be between 12–18 years of age
Dancers should have a solid classical foundation and awareness of contemporary movement in relation to their level and age
Advanced dancers 11 years of age may audition as long as they will be 12 by August 2023
Vitacca Studio Company dancers must train exclusively with Vitacca Dance, Woodlands with the exception of private/public educational institutions
TO PARTICIPATE
Dancers interested in joining the Vitacca Studio Company (or any Vitacca performing company) must audition for review and acceptance. Auditions are held annually between April and August, and we do accept video submissions. Please check out our Auditions Page for updates.

Attire: Ladies– solid color leotard, pink tights with ballet slippers, and pointe shoes for ages 13+
Gentlemen– white t-shirts and black tights

DRESS CODE
All dancers are responsible for wearing the correct dress code for their class level. If the dancer does not have the correct attire, the student may be asked to watch the class. For a list of required attire, please click “Dress Code Details” above.

All students must have their hair up in a bun or french twist. Bangs and long ends need to be pulled neatly back and secured with pins or barrettes and a mist of hairspray to keep loose ends out of the face and off the neck.

For the students’ own safety, there will be no jewelry or glasses worn in class.

Note: Bella Rosa leotards only available for purchase/order through August 16, and will be available for dancers in divisions C through Accelerated in Adult sizes only
