Vitacca's Children's Program offers an enriching selection of ballet technique classes for children ages three to nine within the Fall, Spring and Summer Terms. These classes introduce the aspiring dancer to technical fundamentals, classroom etiquette and art form appreciation. Open registration, call Vitacca for a placement/trial class.
Students ages three to nine are placed by age while students ten and up are placed by knowledge, ability and potential. A placement class is required for all new students. Please contact Vitacca Woodlands to schedule your placement/Train class at: 281.367.7185 or WoodlandsAdmin@VitaccaDance.com
Division training costs (tuition) is based on a 36-week season and divided into ten payments from August through May. Month to month registration is not offered.
All tuition and fees are non-refundable.
To register, please select the class(es) for which you would like to register, and then download and fill out the form for each class. Please mail or email the completed paperwork and payment to Vitacca Woodlands: WoodlandsAdmin@VitaccaDance.com
All dancers are responsible for wearing the correct dress code for their class level. If the dancer does not have the correct attire, the student may be asked to watch the class. For a list of required attire, see the table below.
All students in Ballet classes must have their hair up in a bun. Bangs and long ends need to be pulled neatly back and secured with pins. A mist of hairspray should be used to keep loose ends out of the face and off the neck. Children with short hair (above the neck) need to secure the hair off the face and neck (bun is not necessary for very short hair).
JEWELRY & GLASSES
For the student's own safety, no jewelry is to be worn in class. Dancers with glasses are required to wear an eyeglass retainer strap.
