Pre-Professional: About

Vitacca's Pre-Professional Program is an advanced training opportunity for dancers ages twelve to nineteen. This program provides the foundation for professional dance careers through a cohesive schedule including: ballet technique, modern, contemporary, conditioning and private coaching. Pre-Professional dancers undergo biannual evaluations for review and receive Fall and Spring mentorship meetings. Vitacca Pre-Professional dancers take the stage annually within The Nutcracker and select dancers are invited to participate in Youth America Grand Prix.

PLACEMENT

Students age twelve and up are placed by knowledge, ability and potential. A placement class is required for all new students. Please contact Vitacca Woodlands to schedule your placement/trial class at: 281.367.7185 or WoodlandsAdmin@VitaccaDance.com.

Tuition

Division training costs (tuition) is based on a 36-week season and divided into ten payments from August through May. Month to month registration is not allowed. All tuition and fees are non-refundable.

Other

Dancers attending conditioning classes should provide personal yoga mat.

Dress Code

All dancers are responsible for wearing the correct dress code for their class level. If the dancer does not have the correct attire, the student may be asked to watch the class. For a list of required attire, see the table below.

Hair

All students must have their hair up in a bun or french twist. Bangs and long ends need to be pulled neatly back and secured with pins or barrettes and a mist of hairspray to keep loose ends out of the face and off the neck. 

Jewelry & glasses

For the student's own safety there will be no jewelry or glasses worn in class .
